Port of Dover - KEEPING THE NATION SUPPLIED

We are all being challenged by the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), but we know it is essential that we stay open for business - people in the UK are counting on us continuing to deliver the goods so that supermarket shelves are filled and essential goods are available to everyone.

As the people tasked with keeping trade flowing, we have planned across the business to ensure that we can look after our customers, the nation and its trade. Our employees, business partners and local agencies all have high attention on keeping themselves safe while providing this crucial lifeline link. Working with all our customers, together with our key business partners, contractors, our suppliers, and following the advice of the Government and Public Health England, we aim to ensure that, whatever the challenges we face, we can remain open for business and maintain the flow of goods that will keep communities and businesses in all four corners of Great Britain supplied at this critical time.

Practical measures we have already put in place to maintain core services include:

PLEASE NOTE THAT FROM 8 JUNE NEW UK GOVERNMENT TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS APPLY FOR ENTERING THE UK.

Please visit:  UK Border Advice

And here for the Public Health Locator Form

On 4 July the UK Government travel advice changed, with exemptions for travelling to certain countries and territories, that no longer pose a high risk for British travellers. For the latest UK Government advice and a list of exepmted destinations, please visit Exempted Destinations

To see the additional measures implemented by the Port and its Ferry Partners to ensure your safe crossing from Dover, please see Travel Safely from Dover

For ferry operator information and advice on Coronavirus (COVID-19), visit P&O Ferries advice and DFDS advice

In the meantime, we will continue to be guided by the evolving official advice and update our website accordingly.

With best wishes from the Port of Dover.
