Travel from Dover with confidence after 31st January 2020

The United Kingdom (UK) will cease to be a member of the European Union (EU) on 31st January 2020 and will enter a transition or implementation period, currently until 31st December 2020.  This allows the UK to continue its current relationship with the EU, including as a member of the single market and customs union, while the future trading relationship is negotiated.

FREIGHT

It will be business as usual for freight customers throughout 2020 with no new documentation or insurance needed.

TOURIST

Whether it is for Easter, Summer or Christmas getaways, weekend breaks or day trips, tourist customers can continue to book their travel with confidence as nothing changes in 2020.

As the negotiations move forward, we will be working hard to ensure we are prepared for 2021 and beyond so that customers can continue to enjoy using the Port of Dover and ferry services provided by P&O Ferries and DFDS, benefitting from the unrivalled location, capacity, efficiency and frequency of services on the shortest sea crossing.
