The Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club

Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club (RCPYC) is one of the oldest yacht clubs in England and the Clubhouse is situated on Waterloo Crescent overlooking the Harbour. The royal club has a tradition dating back nearly 150 years, including a distinguished historical association with the ancient Cinque Ports. The club offers temporary membership to all the boating fraternity, giving Dover Marina users access to their bars and restaurant. The RCPYC offers a programme of racing from early March right through to the end of September.

Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club

Owning your own boat is not necessary for membership of the RCPYC, nor is the ability or even the desire to sail. RCPYC’s social side continues to flourish whilst their waterborne members are often in search of enthusiastic crew, whatever level of experience.

Please visit  RCPYC for more information.

The White Cliffs Motor Boat and Yacht Club

Affiliated to the RYA, the White Cliffs Motor Boat and Yacht Club members are either yacht or motorboat owners or are otherwise interested in or connected with sailing or boating. The club was established in 2001 to promote all sailing and motorboat activities.

The club has no premises of its own but uses Cullins Yard Bistro, as its main base. Cullins Yard Bistro is a marina side restaurant and bar overlooking the Wellington Dock behind the seafront. The restaurant/bar is ideally set with great “marine” ambience. The club is run by local yachtsmen and organises a varied programme of events year-round, including harbour races, cruises and other races and waterborne events. During the “season” members may join cruises in company of day and overnight trips along the English, French, Belgian and Dutch coasts.
