The Marina office is located at the Granville Dock car park, across from the Wellington Dock and Tidal Harbour.

The Dover Marina Open Day is back for 2018! It is a great day for all the family. Whether sailing is a passion or you are a complete novice, the day has something to offer you. With free parking, excellent entertainment, food, music and a wide range of marine based exhibitors all set in Dover's fantastic Marina.

Food and Ice cream will be available to purchase on the day.

Car parking will be free for all visitors, car parking will be limited and offered on a first come, first served basis. All details are to be confirmed and may be subject to change.

Port of Dover

The Team at the Port of Dover will be running competitions for both adults and children with prizes including cuddly toys and private tours of the Port (including boat trips).

FireFox Fishing Charters

Firefox Fishing Charters are a big favourite for visitors to the Open Day offering free exciting trips around Dover’s beautiful harbour. Come down to take a taste at sea.

Canterbury Archaeological Trust - Bronze Age Boat

Canterbury Archaeological Trust was established in 1976 and is now one of the leading archaeological organisations in the South East. In 1992 the Trust excavated the remains of a large sewn-plank boat in Dover, dating to around 1550 BC, the Middle Bronze Age. A half-scale replica of the boat was constructed in 2012 and is now operated from Dover Marina by the Trust. The replica will be available to view and will be paddled on short trips from the visitor’s pontoon during the Open Day. Come along and try it out!

Kent Wildlife Trust

Founded in 1958, Kent Wildlife Trust is the leading conservation organisation covering the whole of Kent, dedicated to protecting wildlife and wild habitats for everyone to enjoy.

We currently own and manage the magnificent Lydden Temple Ewell nature reserve, and have a unique opportunity to purchase an extension that will be of great benefit both for wildlife and locals who enjoy visiting the site.

Clarke and Carter

With 3 offices, Chatham, Gillingham and Ramsgate, Clarke and Carter are the largest yacht broker on the Kent Coast. Selling yachts and motorboats ranging in price from £3,500 to £695,000 and in size from 21ft to 75ft. With currently over 300 boats available for sale.

Clarke and Carter are great supporters of the Dover Marina Open Day, they will provide some infromation that will be handed oput by Port of Dover Staff on the day.

De Bradelei Wharf

This great discount store has been in Dover for over twenty years. Their staff will be on hand to showcase their brands.

National CoastWatch Institution

Having been awarded the Queens award for voluntary service and the Shepway and KCC awards for service to the county, the team will be on hand to discuss the fantastic work that they do.

Dover Community Radio (DCR)

A local online community radio station run entirely by volunteers and covering White Cliffs Country.

DCR now produces over 40 hours of dedicated programming seven days a week, evenings and weekends, often including local musicians, alongside a local News coverage and a regular programme of locally produced Spoken Word and Drama presentations. At all other times we offer DCR Non-Stop, a pre-recorded selection of music and interviews.

Anyone from within the District interested in getting into broadcasting is welcome to visit their studios and explore opportunities and ideas. On the day they will be broadcasting and welcoming volunteers.

"Our focus is not only to encourage a sense of community within the area but also to positively promote White Cliffs Country to visitors. Our aim is to provide an opportunity for anyone interested in radio and the community to become involved with the radio station."

Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club

Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club enjoys the position of being a premium yacht club on the South coast of England. They have a comprehensive range of racing and cruising programmes. They also have an extensive programme of social activities all year round. Located in Dover, we are just a short journey away from the continent, thus in an ideal position for the cruising fraternity. So why not call in and enjoy the atmosphere, find out what is on offer and perhaps join. Guests most welcome to join and take advantage of super club facilities.

The club will present their stand and also hold a boat jumble on the day.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service

Dover Fire Station team will be down on the day to talk fire safety and will be sure to bring some exciting equipment for visitors to try.

Dover and Deal Sea Cadets

Dover and Deal Sea Cadets is for ages 10 -18, children can gain boating and other qualifications including first aid and catering. The stall will include tombola and ‘hook a duck’.

Cinque Ports Sailing

Cinque Ports Sailing provides Sailing Opportunities for all ages. It is accredited by the RYA as a Recognised Training Centre.

At the Marina Open Day, we will provide yacht sailing tasters for those interested in taking sailing courses, as well as handing out promotional literature and RYA Push the Boat Out event handouts.

Mission Training and Consultancy Ltd

We deliver various courses to meet demands of new and existing legislation, including the Security Industry (SIA) and the Licensing Act 2003. Individuals that are employed in various industries can attend a range of programme that will prepare them for future development, including first aid training, fire and health & safety training, personal safety for adults, teenagers and children and other specialist courses such as crime prevention and evasive driving skills.

On the day we will be looking to promote our various list of courses with engaging and practical tasks such as our Bullex Fire Simulator and first aid props including resuscitation.
